The President of the Republic amended his resolution on conferring state decorations18.02.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed a resolution whereby the Head of State amended and supplemented his resolution on conferring state decorations, signed on February 4.
The President of the Republic confers the III Class Order of the Cross of the Eagle with Swords to the veteran of the War of Liberation, August Pruueli, born on 5 May, 1900. The President acknowledges the achievements of skier Jaak Mae by awarding to him the III Class Order of the Estonian Red Cross and the achievements of Andrus Veerpalu by awarding to him the I Class Order of the Estonian Red Cross.
In accordance with the President's today's resolution, Olev Vallimäe, who had been included in the resolution of February 4 due to his name misprinted, is excluded from those persons having been awarded the Medal of the White Star.
