The President of the Republic met with Metropolitan Stephanos11.02.2002
President Arnold Rüütel met with the Metropolitan of the Estonian Apostolic-Orthodox Church, Stephanos, this morning. During their discussion, lasting two hours, thoughts were exchanged on problems of the Orthodox Church in Estonia and in the whole world alike. Both President Rüütel and Metropolitan Stephanos assured that they wished the problems arisen to be solved in a peaceful manner, taking into account the interests of all parties concerned.
