The President ot the Republic met with the Prime Minister06.02.2002
Today, at his Wednesday's traditional working-lunch, President Arnold Rüütel had a talk with the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Siim Kallas informed the Head of State of what the Government had done during its first week in office and which tasks lie ahead. In the first place, the Government is endeavouring to conclude the negotiations with the European Union by the end of this year. President Rüütel underlined the necessity to achieve decisive advances in negotiations already in the next few months.
