The President of the Republic made the acquaintance of the new Ministers

The Ministers of the new Government of the Republic having taken the oath of office in the Riigikogu today were tonight at the invitation of President Arnold Rüütel at Kadriorg. Prime Minister Siim Kallas presented the Members of the Cabinet to the Head of State.
President Rüütel voiced his delight that we had managed to form a new government quite rapidly. It is a manifestation that political culture in Estonia is developing the Head of State noted. He pinned his hopes on the new Government being efficient and pursuing the goals of Estonia with single-mindedness.
The President expressed his desire to meet the Ministers frequently and assured them that every Minister would always be welcome at Kadriorg.
