The President of the Republic had a meeting with County Governors

Kalle Talviste.President Arnold Rüütel gave a lunch to County Governors in Kadriorg today.

On the meeting, employment problems in Estonia were discussed, as well as the development of infrastructure in different districts of Estonia and introduction of investments into rural areas. Also the development of maritime tourism and ports was discussed, as well as co-operation with other Baltic Sea countries in the field of maritime tourism.

The Head of State and the County Governors agreed that the tradition of meetings would continue in the future.
