The President of the Republic met with the representatives of Estonians living in Poland

The President of the Republic met with the representatives of the Estonian community in Poland and the Pro Estonia Society in the Estonian Embassy in Warsaw.
Keeping up Estonian patriotism in the world, including in Poland, history of the both countries and relations between Estonia and Poland were talked about at the meeting.
The President was also told about teaching Estonian in the University of Warsaw. It is currently done by a Finnish lecturer Leena Laajo-Szankowska who hopes that there will sometime be a Chair of the Estonian Language in Warsaw. She would be particularly glad if an Estonian teacher would come to teach in Warsaw.
