The President of the Republic of Estonia met the Minister of Culture29.10.2001
At the request of the Minister, President Arnold Rüütel met Signe Kivi, the Minister of Culture, in Kardiorg today. At the meeting, investments into cultural institutions were discussed, as well as the preservation of the present cultural environment and the preservation of the special features of the Old Town of Tallinn. The transformation of schools into local cultural centres, the Manor School Project, and support for manor schoolhouses were discussed.
Minister Kivi presented the map of the Estonian cultural institutions to the President.
