The President of the Republic appointed the Minister of Economy15.10.2001
President Arnold Rüütel signed the resolution to appoint Henrik Hololei a member of the Government of the Republic, the Minister of Economy, in Kadriorg today.
Before signing the resolution, the President had a meeting with Prime Minister Mart Laar and Henrik Hololei. President Rüütel recognised Henrik Hololeis work so far and considered him to be suitable for the post of the Minister of Economy. On the meeting, the situation in world economy and its impact on Estonian economy were discussed, as well as investments into the rural areas and regional policy.
