The President of the Republic met Prime Minister Mart Laar10.10.2001
On todays meeting at Kadriorg, President Arnold Rüütel and Prime Minister Mart Laar agreed that the meetings of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister are going to take place every Wednesday; if it will be not possible to meet, they will communicate by phone.
It was also agreed that the themes of the meetings would be suggested by the President of the Republic, and that at the request of the President Republic or the Prime Minister, also cabinet ministers will be invited to attend the meetings. A representative of the President of the Republic shall also be present on the meetings of the Government of the Republic.
Todays meeting focused on the state budget, and the Prime Minister informed the Head of State that considering the developments in the world, the Government of the Republic would draw up a new state budget prognosis for November.
