The President of the Republic received Estonian athletes14.09.2006
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg received outstanding Estonian athletes who achieved excellent results during summer season 2006, also their coaches and leaders of sports associations.
The President of the Republic thanked the athletes for their admirable achievements and for the joy that their victories had brought to the people of Estonia. ''Always bear in mind that you are and will stay - both in sports and in your private life - role models for young people. I hope that you will carry that responsibility with dignity. I wish you determination to reach your big goals and achieve new brilliant victories,'' the Head of State said.
