PRELIMINARY NOTICE: The President of the Republic will visit Harju County06.08.2006
President Rüütel will be on a working visit to Harju County on August 8 and 9, where he will meet with local people, will visit enterprises and tourism facilities.
On Tuesday morning, the Head of State will visit Harju County’s Government, North Estonian Alarm Center, Saue kindergarten „Midrimaa“, AS Paulig Baltic factory and Harjumaa Museum.
In the afternoon, the President of the Republic will visit the studio of sculptor Tauno Kangro, the construction site of Nissi School and the organic farm AS Saidafarm.
On Wednesday morning, August 9, President Rüütel will acquaint himself with the Freedom Fighters Museum at Lagedi, will visit glass factory AS Klaasimeister, will participate in the ceremony of laying Kõpu Community Center’s cornerstone, and will meet with local people and the members of Habja, Kõue and Paunküla village societies.
In the afternoon, the Head of State will visit the dendrological park of Olaf Gunnar Schmeidt, Jõelähtme Golf Center, and will get acquainted with Viimsi new schoolhouse at Haabneeme, Leppeeme harbour, Viimsi St. Jacob’s church and Viimsi Open Air Museum.
