The President of the Republic met with Chernobyl veterans26.04.2006
President Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with veteran participants of the liquidation of the Chernobyl NPP catastrophe consequences, who acquainted the President of the Republic with social and economic circumstances of Chernobyl veterans who live in Estonia.
In the evening, the President of the Republic will participate in a memorial evening ''Chernobyl prayer'' in Niguliste Church, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl catastrophe.
