The President of the Republic promulgated five acts02.03.2006
President Arnold Rüütel, today, at Kadriorg, signed a resolution to promulgate the Identity Documents Act and Imprisonment Act Amendment Act; the Act on the Ratification of the Protocol between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Estonia for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, and the Protocol thereto; the Act on the Accession to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade, passed by the Riigikogu on February 15, 2006; the National Library of Estonia Act and Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Act Amendment Act, passed by the Riigikogu on February 16, 2006; the Act on the Approval of the Statute of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, passed by the Riigikogu on February 22, 2006.
