The President of the Republic met with the Board of the Enterprise Estonia07.02.2005
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with representatives of the Enterprise Estonia who gave an overview of the EE activities during the last five years and their future plans. The President of the Republic recognised the work of the Estonian Enterprise in enhancing the entrepreneurial environment.
The participants of the meeting observed that dynamic and enterprising people determine Estonia's development capability. President Rüütel pointed out the necessity to support, with the help of the Enterprise Estonia, the development of Estonian economy and society, in order to include also those who were not participating in the labour market would be involved, and to give peripheral districts a chance to develop. The head of state stressed that the implementation of new technology played an important role in Estonia's development.
