The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister

President Arnold Rüütel today during his customary working lunch with Prime Minister Juhan Parts discussed with him current domestic and foreign affairs.
Their discussion focused on the need to carry on information work and to communicate with Estonias population prior to the referendum on our accession to the European Union. The Prime Minister informed the Head of State of his recent domestic visits to and meetings with residents in Narva, Narva-Jõesuu and Suure-Jaani.
The President gave the Prime Minister an overview of the progress made in working out our national agreement.
