The President of the Republic appointed two new ambassadors28.05.2003
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed a resolution to appoint Katrin Saarsalu the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Austria, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Slovenia, and the Swiss Confederation, to be residing in Vienna. The Head of State recalled Mart Laanemäe, the incumbent Ambassador to the aforementioned countries.
The President of the Republic appointed Jüri Luik the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the United States of America and the United Mexican States, to be residing in Washington, and recalled Sven Jürgenson from there“.
