The President of the Republic presented three new books09.05.2003
 Three books connected with President Rüütel English and Russian editions of Arnold Rüütel's memoirs "Tuleviku taassünd" published in 2001 and a book entitled "President" - were presented in the Winter Garden of the Estonian National Opera this afternoon.
The book mentioned last has been published by the Foundation for Estonian Language. The major part of the book consists of Arnold Rüütel's speeches delivered in his capacity as President of the Republic. The book is illustrated with photographs of the Head of State's childhood and his activities as a young man, Chairman of the Supreme Council and President of the Republic.
At the books presentation today, speeches were given by President Rüütel's long-time associates in politics: writer Lehte Sööt-Hainsalu, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland Jaakko Blomberg and Academician Mikhail Bronštein. The President of the Republic thanked all those who had stood up for Estonia's interests and signed autographs for numerous guests.
