The President of the Republic received the new Government10.04.2003
President Arnold Rüütel tonight at Kadriorg received the Members of the Government of the Republic having today taken the oath of office before the Riigikogu and hosted for them a dinner.
The Head of State thanked Juhan Parts for having quickly formed the Government and wished the Ministers strength in their work for the benefit of Estonia. The Prime Minister promised that the Government in its work would consider only the interests of Estonia. Both President Rüütel and Prime Minister Parts agreed that this meant more children, education to be prioritised, and the course to be set for the knowledge-based economy.
