The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister18.03.2003
President Arnold Rüütel today had one of his traditional working lunches with Prime Minister Siim Kallas. They talked primarily about topical international problems having come up in connection with the military operations these days obviously beginning in Iraq and also about the items scheduled for a meeting of the National Defence Council tomorrow. In addition, the issues being dealt with by the still incumbent Government were under discussion, and they also touched upon the unofficial consultations for forming a new ruling coalition, which political parties started after the parliamentary elections.
