The Office of the President of the Republic is celebrating its 10th anniversary03.12.2002
On 18 November, it was ten years since the activities of the Office of the President of the Republic, established in 1938, were resumed.
This afternoon, the former and present employees of the office gathered at the invitation of the President of the Republic and Mrs Ingrid Rüütel at Kadriorg where the President of the Republic, Arnold Rüütel, and President Lennart Meri addressed them. Subsequently, they toured the building of the office just recently renovated.
The celebration of the anniversary of the office is going to be continued at Linnateater (City Theatre) where the new performance "Ay, Carmela" will be viewed and, thereafter, a reception will take place.
